TILT/THE/SKIES are a drone/dark ambient duo formed by Alex T and Eleftherios F. The two met in London a few years ago, but their project only started last year when they were approached to compose an installation piece of music for an Art exhibition.
Unusually, they both studied Graphic design and have been members of various Electronica/Experimental Ambient and Dark Metal music bands in the past.
Using guitars-but not only-as a main instrument, their sound varies in texture, depth and density.
Fascinated by The Dark and Medieval Ages, Spiritualism, Philosophy, Science, Mountains, Antarctica Peninsula, independent film directors such as David Lynch, Andrei Tarkovsky and Theodoros Angelopoulos, Haiku Poetry, clocks, maps, seasons and the state of sleep.
